Headset Battery Replacement

 Today I received my replacement battery for my Sennheiser | EPOS GSP 670s They are a wireless headset geared towards the gamer demographic, and boasts the same quality as other Sennheiser equipment. I've had the headset for about 3 years now, and the battery life was not the greatest — although I didn't take extra care into handling the battery throughout its life. I will be monitoring the charge life for the next few cycles - I have high hopes for the non-OEM battery replacement.

Board Replacement of July

Was servicing an ASUS Strix Scar II GL504G laptop. The initial board needed replacement because of a previous service that was intended for a reapplication of thermal compound for the CPU and GPU, ended up with an unfortunate result. During the initial tear down of the unit, I was going to disconnect the battery when the locking mechanism flew out with minimal force and made contact with the resistors/capacitors closest to the battery - shorting that section of the board. This most recent service was a surprising one - I had ordered a replacement board online and they ended up giving me a different sub-model of the same model family. Originally it had a GTX 1070 Graphics chip and the motherboard I received has a RTX 2070.  I applied Thermal Grizzly Conductonaut Liquid metal thermal compound to the CPU die and I used MX-4 Arctic Thermal compound for the GPU.
